Transition Support

We have put together a collection of trans-specific medical and support links that can be found on our Resource pages, but if you're looking for more guidance or specialized planning, we also offer support calls.

Our transition support consult calls are designed to provide general guidance and information to transgender, non-binary, or gender expansive individuals at any point in their gender journey.

We also offer this service to parents of transgender or non-binary children and adolescents who are looking for some direction on how to best support their child. Depending on you and your child's needs, we can help you develop a better understanding of gender identity, connect you with social supports, or provide information about medical providers near you.

Whether you're just beginning to explore your identity, taking steps to socially or medically transition, or supporting a loved one, we can help.

How we can help

These are just a few examples of the guidance we can provide

Suggest reading material, videos, or other helpful media on gender or transition related topics

Explain transition options, both social and medical, and help create an individualized transition plan

Help find local affirming medical providers or social supports

Assist with developing a coming out plan for friends, family, work, or school

Share information on how to navigate medical or insurance systems in regards to affirming care

Help with deciding if engaging in more formal supports would be beneficial (groups, therapy, etc)

Share information and legal resources on protections for trans individuals

Provide resource lists or suggestions for additional supports

Please note

These informational calls are intended to provide education and not therapeutic support. They are designed to offer guidance and resources to individuals seeking information about social or medical transitioning processes.

It's important to know that these calls are not a substitute for therapy, and participating in a call does not imply an agreement for ongoing therapy work. Also, we will not provide medical advice, and insurance cannot be billed for support and resource calls.

Support Call Fees

Fees are as follows*:

30 min call for $40

60 min call for $70

*Fees are adjustable based on need.
