LGBTQIA2S+ Affirming Therapy
We know how hard it can be to find a therapist who truly understands and affirms queer, trans, and LGBTQIA2S+ identities and experiences. As a collective, we’re committed to providing safe, nonjudgmental, and culturally responsive care that supports each client in reaching their therapeutic goals—on their own terms.
What is affirming therapy anyway?
Queer and trans affirming therapy is a healing approach rooted in deep respect for the unique identities, experiences, and needs of LGBTQIA2S+ people. In our collective, we understand that therapy isn’t just about addressing individual struggles—it’s also about recognizing the broader systems that impact our lives.

Whether you're coming to therapy for identity-related support or for things like anxiety, relationships, trauma, or life transitions, we honor how your lived experiences—including discrimination, oppression, and resilience—shape your mental health.

Our collective is made up of therapists who are specially trained in queer and trans affirming care. We center intersectionality, cultural humility, and lived experience in our work. That means we don’t just “accept” who you are—we celebrate and affirm you, while actively working to create a space where you don’t have to explain or defend your existence.

We use approaches and tools that are rooted in LGBTQIA2S+ liberation, community wisdom, and trauma-informed practice. Our goal is to help you reconnect with your power, build resilience, and move toward a life that feels more free, embodied, and authentic.

You deserve to be seen, respected, and supported—without compromise. That’s what we’re here for.

*We recognize the harm that certain therapy practices have caused to marginalized communities when used without acknowledgement of the impact or existence of oppression. In those cases where components of these modalities could be helpful, we incorporate anti-oppressive theories into our work to ensure that our clients receive the best possible care.
